In Remembrance
We pause to remember the members of our VFW family who have answered their final call. Their service, sacrifice, fellowship, and dedication will remain part of the history and legacy of VFW Post 7824.
Gone from our ranks, but never forgotten.
The Tradition of Taps
Taps is the traditional bugle call sounded at military funerals and memorial ceremonies in honor of those who have served. Its quiet notes have become one of the most recognizable traditions of remembrance in the United States Armed Forces.
For the Veterans of Foreign Wars, remembering departed comrades is an important part of preserving the bonds of service and fellowship. Through remembrance, we honor their lives, their military service, and the contributions they made to their fellow veterans and their communities.
